We work in Lightroom Smart Previews — your full wedding travels as a few gigabytes instead of a few hundred, and your raws never leave your studio.
In Lightroom Classic, select the job and go to File → Export as Catalog… Check "Build / Include Smart Previews" and leave "Export negative files" unchecked.
Lightroom creates a .lrcat file and a Smart Previews.lrdata folder side by side. Zip them together into one file.
Once your schedule is confirmed, send the zip to alexknightstudio.com/uploads. A full wedding is usually 2–4 GB — coffee-break territory, not overnight.
We cull and edit inside your catalog and send it back. Open it, relink to your originals, and every edit snaps onto your full-resolution raws — ready to export.
It depends on the size of the order — hand work takes the time it takes. Most orders come back within a week; large projects, like a full wedding cull-and-edit, run up to two weeks. Your exact timeline is confirmed with your quote, before you send anything.
