How to run the list on the day.

  • Biggest groups first, then release people. The list is already ordered this way: everyone → extended family → grandparents → immediate family → parents → siblings. Grandparents and kids get done — and dismissed — early.
  • Send the list to the couple beforehand and have them name a family wrangler on each side — a cousin or a sibling's spouse who knows every face. You call the shot, they fetch the people.
  • Call names, not roles. "Susan and David, you're up" moves a room. "The groom's parents, please" gets blank stares. That's why this list collects real names.
  • Budget ~3 minutes a shot. The counter above is doing that math for you. Past 45 minutes you're losing cocktail hour — cut from the bottom, not the top.
