This is a shooting day, not a classroom. You will spend the afternoon making images, with Alex and Daria guiding you hands-on the whole way.
We meet in the park, get acquainted with the couple, and talk through how we will read the light and approach the day before we start shooting.
We move between locations and pockets of light, posing and shooting as we go. Alex and Daria work alongside you, adjusting in real time so you see how each frame comes together.
As the afternoon softens, we follow it. Open shade, backlight, and golden hour, so you leave knowing how to handle whatever the sky is doing.
When we wrap, the group heads somewhere close by to connect over coffee or a drink. A relaxed end to the day, and a chance to talk through what you captured.

She shoots weddings and editorials across New York and brings a warm, intuitive teaching style to the workshop.

Payment is non-refundable but transferable. You may send another photographer in your place, or apply your payment to a future workshop, with at least 14 days notice.
We will have a set rain date, announced along with the workshop date. If the workshop is moved for weather and you are unable to attend the rain date, you will receive a full refund.
